Before the pandemic (when people still ate out!), how easy did you find it to order vegetarian meals and dishes? Some restaurants are more vegetarian-friendly than others, but sometimes, I felt like I could only order a salad!
Hello. I relate to salads as the fallback at restaurants. Overall, I’m finding it easier than ever to order vegetarian-friendly restaurant meals. But sometimes, the veg-friendly dishes are listed on the “light” or “healthy” menu section, sometimes the kids’ section!
Indian restaurants have good vegetarian dishes. Other Asian restaurants (not all) have options. Some of the things I’ve gotten are vegetarian dumplings, pho, and sushi rolls (cucumber, avocado, or beet).
I didn’t realize that there were beet sushi rolls. Those sound really good! When it’s safe to go back to my local sushi buffet restaurant, I’ll definitely give those a try. I love how creative people are. I never would have thought to put beets in sushi.
